Katharina Doerk (43) has been managing director and editor-in-chief of action press for eight years. She was responsible for maintaining and growing the network of partner-agencies and picture-suppliers ever since becoming head of the international department.
Before joining action press in 1994, she was coordinatrice at euronews, the European tv-newschannel in Lyon, France, and at the newsdesk of SAT.1 television in Hamburg.

Ulf Schmidt-Funke (44) worked as managing director and editor-in-chief of action press for eight years. In addition he was responsible for acquisition negotiations with international agency-networks, with international media companies like Getty Images and Hunzinger Information AG.
Before joining action press, he worked as a corporate consultant in the areas of organizational development, strategic planning, re-engineering, Interim Management and Merger & Acquisitions.
